If you can get a booking (the waiting list is months long), Hong Kong’s new darling of the foodie scene AMMO is well worth a visit. The new restaurant housed in a former ammunitions compound is, at least design-wise, unlike any other eatery in the city. Floor to ceiling windows are surrounded by greenery (yes, really) and the interiors will give design geeks something to talk about all night. Local talent Joyce Wang is the talent behind the interiors, which hint at the building’s previous incarnation. Having only landed on the interior design scene three years, Joyce is certainly making an impression in Hong Kong and beyond.
